About Bistro Guillaume Sydney

Guillaume Brahimi is a name synonymous with fine, French food in Australia. With his Sydney eatery, Bistro Guillaume, he invites you to experience a Paris getaway right here in Sydney. He wants you to linger and let day turn into night, as the Parisians would. The setting is luxe and the atmosphere vivacious - nothing short of what the French would expect. It evokes memories of a rainy day in France, when you ran into a local Bistro and enjoyed steak with frites and a creamy, béarnaise sauce. Peruse the menu which reads like a French cookbook: oysters with vinaigrette, onion soup and terrine. Duck à l’orange, mussels served with chips and, bien sûr, snails are all there. Soufflé, profiterole and crème caramel too. All you have to say is ‘oui’.

A delicious and amazing dining experience. It is French cuisine at its best. Can't wait to go back. Just love, love this place.

Extraordinary on all accounts. Guests enjoyed Duck L'Orange and the lamb special for two. French wait staff typical of a French Bistro, both charming and delightful. Wine list was to die for. Guests enjoyed St George's Cab Sav from the Coonawarra. Definitely geared for the business/corporate account and overseas traveller!

I wish the wine by the glass list included a Marsanne/Roussane in the whites and a good quality Pinot Noir in the reds. The place is efficiently managed, waiters are well trained and customer focused. Overall a very pleasant experience..

Second time here and it didn’t disappoint. Such great value - we had 2 bottles of wine, entries and main and every dish except for one was amazing. Pasta dish just a little too rich but otherwise, all was delicious. would go back just to sit, enjoy some drinks with just entrees alone. Service - impeccable.

The house-made pate is a must have! Good quality food all-round. Service was not that attentive even though there were not a lot of customers in the restaurant.

Food was delicious but service was not good his time around. We have been before and the service was great then but this time we had multiple different waiters who didn’t seem to know what was happening. We also ordered 2 mocktails which came out wrong and then when they did come out they hadn’t been made correctly and were really unpleasant we couldn’t drink them which was a shame

Enjoyable evening, casual enough to be relaxed but formal enough to be pleasant.
